Fishing experience plan
Experience everything from the sea to your dinner table.
An unforgettable day spent with an active fisherman.
Trawl's fishing experience is more than just fishing.
At 7 a.m., we set sail for Sagami Bay in a fishing boat.
We experienced both rod fishing and gillnet fishing, and returned to port around 11:00 AM.
From there, a workshop begins where participants learn how to prepare the fish they caught.
Scalping, filleting, arranging the sashimi...
Professional fishermen will provide thorough instruction, so even beginners can feel at ease.
Finally, I enjoyed the sashimi, grilled dishes, and fish soup that I had prepared myself.
I'll be having a full course meal of seafood.
You can never get the same taste from fillets you buy at the supermarket.
It's an experience that makes you truly appreciate the value of life and feel grateful for it.

Things you can experience

Boat fishing
To ensure even beginners can enjoy the experience, all fishing rods and tackle are available for rent.
Many families enjoy sharing a single fishing rod.

Observe and experience gillnet fishing
We experienced the process of pulling up the nets that had been set the day before and removing the fish from them.
This is a valuable opportunity to see the work of fishermen up close.

Trolling
A fishing method that targets migratory fish by retrieving a lure.
You can sometimes catch big fish like bonito and mahi-mahi.

Fish preparation workshop
From scaling and gutting to filleting and preparing the fish for sashimi.
We will provide thorough instruction over approximately two hours.
Fish that are caught in each season

Winter to Spring (December to May)
Filefish (the liver is exquisite), tilefish, flounder, rockfish, scorpionfish, black sea bream, sillago

Summer to Autumn (June to November)
Horse mackerel, mackerel, bonito, mahi-mahi, young yellowtail,
Greater amberjack, grouper

Things that can be caught with gillnets, etc.
Flounder, spotted grunt,
Rockfish, spiny lobster (summer), octopus

Reliable backup system
Since it's an experience that depends on nature, there will be days when you don't catch anything.
But with Trawl, you can rest assured!
Gillnet cover
We secured a minimum amount of fish using the nets we had set the day before.
Procurement-based response
Even if you don't catch anything, you can still hold a workshop with fresh fish.
Raw octopus takoyaki party
A popular plan for bad weather.
Takoyaki made with fresh octopus caught by fishermen is exquisite.
safety standards
Prioritizing everyone's safety, we will cancel departures if wind speeds exceed 6 m/s. Please rest assured that we have alternative plans available.
